RESCHEDULED! NEW DATE – MARCH 4, 2022
The official Fundraiser Party for the Team Tony Cancer Foundation is a fun, hip, and entertaining evening that includes creative cuisine, live music provided by Reverend Barry & the Funk, and phenomenal silent and live auction items. Three words that can stop time and change your life in an instant: “You have cancer.” The shock is indescribable. You may experience a myriad of emotions, fear, sadness, and denial. This is normal. Now imagine that someone reaches out to you and says, “I’ve been there; I can relate to what you’re going through, and I’m here for you.” In Florida, over 100,000 people will be diagnosed with cancer this year. We believe no one should have to fight cancer alone. Our mission is to provide free Peer-to-Peer cancer support and resources to cancer fighters, survivors, and caregivers in our local community.
JACKETS and JEANS benefits Team Tony Cancer Foundation’s critical mission of providing free peer-to-peer cancer support and resources. Our 1-to-1 peer mentoring program matches a trained volunteer cancer survivor with a recently diagnosed cancer patient who is in need of support. Referred to as a Teammate, a Team Tony volunteer mentor is someone who can relate to the newly diagnosed cancer patient. Team Tony Teammates offer support, knowledge, encouragement, and inspiration every step of the way. Over the last four years, we have matched 350 cancer fighters and caregivers in the Tri-County with Team Tony teammates and provided over $101,500 in medical grants to help alleviate the financial burden that comes with a cancer diagnosis.
YOUR SUPPORT IS CRITICAL TO THOSE WITH CANCER! Your tax-deductible gift to Team Tony Cancer Foundation ensures that no one in our community has to face cancer alone.
PLEASE NOTE: At Team Tony Cancer Foundation, we serve a vulnerable population – cancer fighters who are immunocompromised, caregivers who need to stay healthy to look after their loved ones and survivors who still suffer the after effects of years of treatment.
Because of the serious nature of Covid-19 and the recent appearance of the Omicron variant, we will require the following for all Jackets and Jeans attendees aged 12 and older:

• Both physical and electronic presentation of documents will be accepted. Photo identification must accompany the presentation of all documents.
If attendees prefer, CDC or other official vaccination record showing the attendee is/are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (at least 14 days since the final dose) may be voluntarily presented at the door as an acceptable alternative to negative COVID-19 test results.
Protocols will be revisited and may be revised based on CDC guidance and the evolving circumstances of the pandemic, including use of additional screening protocols.
