Cycle of Life

October 14th-15th, 2017

Registration Now Open

Each October, the Team Tony Foundation has hosted the Cycle of Life (COL). After seven consecutive years, this 200+ mile, 2-day cycling ride continues to stay true to the spirit of Team Tony and its founder and namesake Tony McEachern: Never Forget How To Live!

This year, the COL is bigger and better than ever! Our weekend Celebration of Life has a great line up of  events and will commence with a Kickoff Dinner on Friday night for riders, friends, family, and community members. The ride will then start in Sarasota on Saturday morning at Benderson Park. The riders will head West towards Sebring, FL, following a beautiful route through the country side. Day One takes you through winding backroads and scenic orchards. Upon arrival in Sebring, the riders will be able to relax at the beautiful Inn on the Lakes and spend the evening enjoying live music, good food and refreshments, and festivities.

Day Two of the ride begins bright and early for the riders in Sebring. The riders make their way back to Sarasota, where friends and family are waiting at Benderson Park to welcome them back after 214 miles of incredible cycling. The PGT Finish Line Party is plentiful with cold beers, cheering crowds, music and food, helping to revive the energy levels of the rider as they celebrate and reflect on the amazing feat accomplished over the previous two days.

Want to participate in the weekend, but you are not a cyclist? No Problem! Come join us on Sunday October 15th before the PGT Finish Line Party at Benderson Park for the 2nd annual Fun Run & Walk. It’s a fun, family friendly event for everyone! More details to follow soon.

The most exhilarating part of this event occurs after the weekend itself is over. All the money raised by the incredible efforts of our riders goes directly towards supporting Team Tony’s mission of providing 1-to-1 support and resources to those diagnosed with cancer.
